Senior Conveyancer
Chepstow
We are a professional, forward-thinking and progressive law firm seeking a Senior Conveyancer to join our team. The role is based at our Chepstow office; however agile/flexible working is available for the right candidate.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of freehold and leasehold cases including new build, unregistered and shared ownership properties.
- Independently establish priorities and manage deadlines.
- Provide support and coaching to team/assistants.
- Provide exceptional service both to clients, introducers and associates
.
- Build strong relationships with clients and third parties, whilst communicating effectively.
- Deal with complex legal enquiries.
- Assist and help organise the team to ensure company targets are met.
- Understand and produce accurate financial statements if required (with support if needed).
- Optimise the client experience through use of our conveyancing systems and technology, and be open-minded to new ways of working that maximises efficiency.
- Manage/oversee exchange of contracts and completion of transactions.
- Identify, monitor and deliver fully against personal targets using the management information provided to you.
- Recognise potential risks and resolve issues without putting the client or business at risk.
- Suggest improvements to current policies and procedures.
- Work to and maintain Service Level Agreements.
The Candidate
- An experienced and qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive.
- A natural self-starter with flexibility and empathy for others.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to meet client and business needs.

Residential Conveyancer
Chepstow
We are a professional, forward-thinking and progressive law firm seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join our team. The role is based at our Chepstow office; however agile/flexible working is available for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Undertake a variety of quality freehold and leasehold cases, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and new builds.
- Provide exceptional service both to clients and third parties.
- Communicate with clients and third parties on all elements of the conveyancing transaction.
- Optimise the client experience through the use of our conveyancing systems and technology.
- Prepare documentation as required with the conveyancing process.
- Any other duties required to assist your team should the need arise.
The Candidate:
- Have at least two years’ qualified experience as a Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or Solicitor. Alternatively, you will have three years’ residential conveyancing experience managing your own case load and be able to deal with residential property matters.
- Have a good understanding of leasehold property.
- Professional, trustworthy and be able to work well under pressure.
- You will be part of a team and be willing to embrace innovation.
- Be familiar with case management and practice management systems.
- Have knowledge and experience using all office applications.

The Role:
- Inbound / outbound client call handling,
- Client relationship management.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and communications.
- Ensuring client satisfaction.
- Preparing documentation and keeping data records up-to-date.

Corporate Lawyer
Main Purpose of role
To assist the firm in building a successful and competitive corporate law team. Deal with the firm’s new and existing clients who need corporate legal services and deliver such service in a compliant and timely mannerr.
You will be responsible for:

Managing a case load of corporate clients

Ensuring you work to the firms policies and procedures

Using the firms chosen software applications at all time and as instructed

Building and leading a small team

Identifying new opportunities for the firm from existing clients and see them through to conclusion or by passing them to the relevant person in the new business team

Increasing the firm’s satisfaction ratings with all clients from all sources by providing excellent service to them

Updating client data accurately as and when required;

Ensuring our case management system is true and accurate at all times
